Tess had all six pups within 3 hours, the quickest delivery to date.

Pups have ID collars at birth, each puppy is recorded with its weight within a couple of minutes after birth. We will photograph them regularly over the next 8 weeks and give pupdates here.

Day 3 - All pups have gained weight over the last couple of days, they are drinking milk freely and gaining weight. Tess has her pups with her all the time, she only leaves the whelping box to go to the toilet, she even has her food in her little den with her babies around her

Friday 10th July - Pups are one week old today, new  photos in the gallery. Tess is the most fabulous mummy to her babies, she's enjoying every minute of her new status. It's very hot today, inside temperature is 86° pups have struggled with the heat and preferred cold tiles to their whelping box, no heat lamp required.  We do have air-con for the big dogs, but pups are too young yet as they are unable to regulate their temperature for another couple of weeks.

2 Weeks old - 17th July - The last week has gone so fast and now  their little eyes have opened, they can see and hear us.  Tess was only in the whelping box for the first week, it's been so hot for her that she has preferred to lie outside the box and have the pups brought to her for feeding. She also chooses  to go outside during the night, I have not known this before in any other litter, Mums don't usually want to go away from their pups. She is quite happy to lay outside with other dogs in the cool of night, while I stay with them and read, in between feeds. We are underneath a large gazebo with comfy furniture, it's quite  relaxing after a very hot day. Pups are also starting to get up on their feet and walk now, it's very interesting to watch them develop in to proper puppies.

New photos below. We have always displayed beautiful photos of our pups using various editing programmes over the years. With new technology, see if you  can spot a little  AI magic in our pics.
